Materia Medica AI (the “App”) is a study and reference tool for homeopathic practitioners and students, developed by ManuTech. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We’ve tried to keep it short and concrete.

Sent only after you accept the one-time in-app AI consent notice. Not used to train the model. We do not retain prompt content beyond what is needed to deliver the response. Our diagnostic logs record only counts and timings (e.g. token counts) — never the symptom text itself.

4. Where data is stored

Most data stays on your device. The cross-device pieces (account, settings, cases backup, analytics) are stored with Google Cloud / Firebase, which Google operates in regions of its choosing. Your backed-up cases live in your own Google Drive, not ours.

The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data, email us and we will delete it.

The App is for educational and reference use only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. AI output is generated probabilistically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical decisions, and contact a doctor or emergency services for urgent symptoms.

If we change this policy materially, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, surface a notice inside the App.
